Jason was used to pain. He couldn’t truly remember a time where there hadn’t been pain. From childhood scrapes and bumps, to Willis’ violent outbursts. His mom’s death had brought a new kind pain. Something deep, aching, cutting straight into his heart. It wasn’t physical but it was somehow worse.
He had only become more accustomed to pain when he lived on the streets. No matter what, Jason would have to face some type of pain.
But nothing, nothing, Jason had experienced compared to this in any way, shape or form. The hot burning spread through his body, all originating from the deep bite in his neck.

Gotham is a hotspot for all sorts of cryptids and monsters; vampires in particular. Jason is a homeless child just trying to survive. That is until a vampire finds him and flips his world upside down.
