Summary
On the third Thursday of every month, Jean walks seven miles across town to visit his sister.
This is the deal that he’s struck with his sister’s foster—no, adoptive now—family. They used to claim that he could visit whenever he wanted, and it used to be Jean’s ability to sneak out of the Moriyama’s home that limited the frequency, but of course the Master had figured out where he was going, and now for years they’ve had him in their ear, telling them how Jean is unstable and disruptive and getting into fights and doing drugs, and of course they don’t want Elodie around that. She’s had a hard enough life as it is, and her good-for-nothing brother is just going to bring trouble and pain. But that won’t stop Jean from showing up, and so this is the deal that he had to make.
Jean will take whatever time he can get.

Summary
Tim just wants to protect his baby brother. The only problem is he can't seem to outsmart Bruce and has no idea which of the bats (if any) he can trust. So, some drastic measures must be taken.
It's not what he wants to do, but they didn't leave him much choice. He doesn't feel too bad about it though. After the 'test' Bruce gave him for his 16th birthday, well, he won't make Damian go through the same thing, if he can help it. At the very least, he won't make Damian do it alone.
It just happens, sometimes, that a difficult case forces Tim to put sleeping and eating a bit lower on his list of priorities. That's fine, Tim is used to not getting what he needs.

Summary
There’s not really a point in owning a car, especially with the cost of insurance. With the threat of student debt looming overhead like a cloud, Bernard can’t afford to buy a car without help, and there’s no way he’ll ever ask Tim.
So Bernard doesn’t really drive. He’s happy to let his weirdly specific driving skills get swept under the rug, because the thing he has with Tim still feels delicate and new, and he doesn’t want to ruin it by bringing up that his uncle was in a gang and hey, he just happened to teach Bernard how to drive. Bernard wants to avoid any kind of conversation around crime in Gotham, actually. Especially after what happened in high school.
It’s not like he’s ever going to need to drive a getaway car, anyway. As far as Bernard is concerned, it’ll never come up.
Bernard learned to drive from his henchman uncle. The last place he expects to use this skill is at a dinner with his boyfriend's family.
