Summary
Sixteen Years ago Draco Malfoy lost the girl because he didn't have a plan. It's not a mistake he's going to make twice.
Hermione Granger has no plans on making the same mistakes twice, either, and as far as she is concerned, Draco Malfoy was definitely a mistake.
They have just seven sessions to unweave the past from the present. Seven sessions in which they both want to figure out a way to move on with their lives. However, Draco is determined that he'll be doing it with Hermione by his side, and Hermione is sure it will after she finally allows herself to say goodbye.
NOTE: This is the second fic in this series. You need to read the first to have this make any sense.

Her intuition and Sneakascope had both failed her. The deep voice that reverberated around her office wasn’t that of an administrator. And it called her a name she hadn’t heard in 16 years.

She didn’t turn. Couldn’t turn. There was no way her eyes could confirm what her brain already knew. Besides, she’d already been bled, vomited and sweated on; she didn’t need to add her own tears to the mix.
“So it’s true then?” the voice continued, “Curious.”

Goad Professor Malfoy into saying all the things that might make your thigh clench and your breath catch. All without him knowing. The more scandalous the phrase, the more points it's worth.
Now it's on Headmistress Granger's desk and she will put a stop to it. Even if she has to observe every single one of his classes and listen to Professor Malfoy say "Good Girl" more times than any woman could resist.

“Misery?”
“You know what I mean, Malfoy. All this waiting? Don’t you want to find out who she is?”
Malfoy looked at her, eyes locked on hers, for so long it was nearly uncomfortable and then he slowly looked away.
“What if I don’t want to?” he said quietly, “What if I want to have a bit more time to - “
She looked at him, at his handsome face. It dawned on her then.
“I see - you want to be able to fuck around? Sow some more wild oats?”
She saw the red burn in his cheeks. He looked annoyed and his eyes flashed back to hers.
“And you don’t want to run the risk of one of them being your future mate, do you? Fucking them and accidentally awakening the bond before you’re ready. All too risky. The only safe way would be a muggle born. Someone who could never be your mate.”
