Summary
The waves seem to calm over the length of their silence until Ben feels like the waves are crashing against his chest when he feels the ends of Callum’s fingers against his hand. It’s delicate and Ben feels like he could possibly be imagining the whole thing until he moves his hand a little and Callum’s fingers are in his palm. Ben swallows before closing his hand over Callum’s fingers and hopes Callum’s ok with him doing it.
“I wish we didn’t have to go home. I wish we could just stay here forever,” Callum whispers. “I hate the world when you aren’t in it.”
