Harry lets out an exasperated sigh, bracing his hands on the shelves in front of him as he tries to think. The closet falls silent, save for their breathing, as both men try to come up with a solution to the ridiculous predicament they’re in. Neither of them says anything for a few minutes. Not until Harry, with eyebrows furrowed, feels something poking into his back.
“Malfoy,” he says, voice flat and bordering on warning.
“Potter,” Malfoy responds, his own voice tight and quiet.
“Tell me that’s your wand.”

Harry's surprised that Draco didn't have wards up preventing mortally wounded former school mates-turned-ghosted work fellows from bursting into his house.
In Harry's addled mind, this seems like a great opening line to say to Draco's gobsmacked face. He doesn't get that far, though.
Or: Harry gets hurt, Draco is a vanishing alchemist who may or may not be able to save the day, but under no circumstances are either of them willing to talk about Their Feelings.
Well. Maybe "mortal peril" circumstances will do it, actually.
