Ever the good friend, Todoroki dutifully answered each question, taking time to weigh Hanta’s selfish little probes in his head before delivering a well-thought-out and honest answer.
Sero didn’t deserve someone like this, really. Todoroki was like an ornate pitcher, full of fresh, crystalline water. Someone to be proud of. Sero was like the one chipped beaker everyone owned but hid at the back of a cupboard. Painfully average.
