"Hypothetical babies?" Qui-Gon answered.
"Yes, hypothetical, but what hypothetical babies?"
"Little Skywalker-Amidala babies?"
"I guess that works too. But the real question is what would happen to the hypothetical padawan of your hypothetical padawan?"
"Wait," Qui-Gon interrupted. "I get the hypothetical point. So you're saying Anakin is having twins?"
"No, I'm saying that Anakin is building two cribs, one with the name Luke and other Leia on it, presumably for hypothetical babies. The rest you assume yourself."
"Hypothetical congratulations are in order then."
"Hypothetically," Obi-Wan agreed.
---Qui-Gon dragged his padawan and grandpadawan fabric shopping. The more he spent time with Obi-Wan Kenobi, the more he realized how hoggable the padawan--his grandpadawan was. Anakin would cope. He had babies of his own coming. Didn't he?
