Es difícil explicar cómo mierda había llegado aquí. Se supone que solo era un pequeño secreto, mi pequeño secreto; ese tipo de secretos que realmente planeas llevarte a la tumba... Tampoco era el secreto más "cuerdo" que había tenido, pero no ocasionaba daño alguno... ¿no?
¿Qué se supone que es todo esto entonces? Y realmente no puedo descifrar en qué momento este secreto había volcado mi vida por completo... por dios ni siquiera se supone que mi secreto debería saber de mi existencia.
...
Y aun así, juró por la existencia de un ser divino, que a pesar de todo, no me molestaría que las cosas se quedaran como están ahora...

No, he didn’t care about that as much as the others did. Was it because of a secret mission that involved him? Not at all; he wouldn’t go against his teacher’s son. Was it because he posed a great threat to the village and everyone’s well-being? Answering these questions negatively only made him look like a terrible person...
Perhaps, then, is it because the little boy had become so fiercely protective of the person Kakashi was interested in, refusing to even let him get close? Ha, well, now he *definitely* seemed like a terrible person.

"One more day, and all of this will be over," he said calmly, though apprehensive about the situation we were in.
But I shook my head, turning to look at him again.
"You know I like you so much?"
It took him a moment to react, slowly lifting his eyes, his guard, which had been down, shooting up at the sudden confession.
"And that's okay," I continued before he could respond. "I'm not asking anything from you. You've made it clear more times than I'd like to count that the idea of you and me being something is impossible..."
I clenched my fists, diverting my gaze to the piece of cardboard, the project that had taken us so much effort to finish.
"But it’s moments like these that make me forget you’re genuinely a terrible person."

Summary
Let’s be clear, my whole life had been written before me without me having control over it. I consider it even relaxing: I trained my pokemon and faced my best friend and rival, Red. A "normal" routine, one I enjoyed.
Everything began to go downhill when my lucky friend defeated the Pokemon league, and instead of celebrating it with his family, his friends... he just disappeared without leaving any note or trace.
The last thing I would hope for is to discover the secrets around him and the strange worry I would feel for him once he’s back.

There is SO much to unpack here. The tropes are on top and on and on and on. The pipeline from “ugh I don’t really like you” to “two hormonal young men” is done perfectlyyyy. From a fantastic friendship, an insane watermelon sugar high song in the disco and a much needed kiss, TO ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS COMEDY with Lewis, bottas, and danniel c’mon. The first time I read a fic with lewis on it and it was beyond what I imagined. I loved it so so much

The track the story had was incredible and beyond what many poeple achieve to convey and write. You could feel the complexity of the characters, the world building, and the careful detail it went into every single dialogue.
I like it trough and through. Max was special to me in this one. I felt so many things from this, and I absolutely loved it

Man I was SOOOO SOOOO INTO THE ALPHA X ALPHA. And like this author GETS IT, it’s violent, roudy, and the introduction to it was so tense and interesting. I would’ve love that the power dynamics wouldn’t have changes, and that we could’ve go further with Max giving off more power to Charles, because as conflicting as it was, he didn’t seem like he wanted it to end AGH AND ALL HE SAID ABOUT HOW HE WASNT EASY AND HE HAD TO FIGHT FOR IT but I digress this was fantastic
the first half had no reason to be SO GOOD, and the alpha x alpha dynamic written so interestly
