    It was another gala night. Wayne Enterprises’ annual charity event this time. Bruce had gone through the necessary steps in making sure that the public, the people, see Bruce Wayne in the flesh and have something to talk about until next time someone started wondering what the billionaire was up to again. It had been a routine.  
     
    And really, it was going well. He just did not account for one singular Clark Kent to show up in the gala to throw him off balance and sweep him off his feet.
