Summary
Ten years ago, you graduated high school and left your family, hometown, and entire life behind. It was impulsive, sudden, and maybe at least partially warranted. You could’ve gone the rest of your life without going back to Chapton-- but fate doesn’t work like that. Time passes, health declines, and families fade.
You had to go back to clean out the house your parents left behind for you, even if it meant being in the same town as the three people you wanted to see the least. An even bigger nightmare when agreeing to help a friend leads to volunteering with the biggest reasons you left in the first place. For you, it was like a waking nightmare having to relive your past and hash out old fights. For them? It was a second chance-- albeit, maybe ten years too late.
Try as they may, Skips Shadley, Chance Hall, and Parker Bradley would have to try pretty hard to get you to not leave everything behind all over again.
