The eyes looking into his own at this moment, however, told Zilong the cold, hard truth. Calculated and vicious, ruthless and with one thing written in their violet depths- revenge. Ling averted his gaze from the Great Dragon far too easily for it to mean any other thing; he had come here to settle the score, to fight Zilong once more. The two boys that had now become men, once impossibly close though now nothing more but strangers. “Let’s build a dock,” Vale’s hands were on his hips. He was facing the lake. His back was to a lying, lazing Valir. Without thinking, Valir’s eyes traced the curve of his shins, up his thighs, along the arch of his back and met Vale’s as the boy turned around to make eye contact.
Pretty, he thought, but didn't realise he had.

“Tomioka, really-” Iguro kept objecting, until he realized what it really meant. Tomioka wasn’t curious about what was under the bandages or about the foul blood. Or if he was, he wasn’t going to get into Iguro’s face about it or treating him differently. He was going to respect Iguro and let him eat in peace.
Was that what normal people were supposed to do? Tomioka just seemed so 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭, acting like any everyday person would, respecting Iguro, not trying to force-feed him but genuinely looking out for his health and hunger.

Story concept: Obanai meets Tomioka instead of Mitsuri in the Ubuyashiki estate, and his total lack of reaction to Obanai has the same catnip effect, leading to Obanai fixating on Tomioka.

basically i take that and make an entire canon rewrite while having sanegiyuu and obamitsu running in the background, along with some good old giyuu-mitsuri friendship added to the mix. theyre so silly i love them.
