Summary
His sword whistles past Goro’s ear, nicking at the delicate skin. Goro grits his teeth, body tense with anticipation. The rain makes it hard to predict where Kurusu’s black sword will strike next.
“Hifumi passed on your greetings,” Akira Kurusu says, fury simmering beneath his conversational tone. “And I’m polite enough to give you my own in person. So greetings, General Goro Akechi. I am the man who will kill you.” Kurusu bares his teeth in a poor imitation of a smile, anger written all over his face, and strikes again.
Or: Goro Akechi and Akira Kurusu are generals on opposing sides of war.

Akira hadn't even been aware he had fallen asleep until his alarm went off the next morning, slapping at his phone to shut it up as he forced himself up and into his school uniform before Sojiro poked his head around the bottom of the stairs. "Hey. Breakfast." Akira nodded as Sojiro disappeared back into the kitchen, Akira coming downstairs, only to see Akechi sitting at the bar. "....." He sat on the other end of the bar, setting the bag containing Morgana, as well as other various items, down on the stool beside him. Having to deal with Akechi this early in the morning certainly wasn't on his list of things to do, only casting a slight glance in the detective's direction as he dug his fork down into the curry. ...Yeah. He was absolutely certain he hated this man.
Akira and Akechi are soulmates. Who could think of a worse fate than being stuck with the person you hate? How about sharing their feelings and emotions? Will they finally get over their complexes and figure out what's going on, or are they doomed to suffer?
