Summary
“Nishinoya,” he said, and Nishinoya nearly dropped the net. He looked up with wide eyes, nervous like a small animal. “I was wondering,” Asahi began, and it became quite apparent that he was just as uncomfortable with the situation, possibly more than Nishinoya was, “if you would like me to tutor you?”
Whatever those words did for Nishinoya’s brain chemistry, the Dopamine payoff was immeasurable. The feeling made him teeter on his feet. Asahi wanted to help him. He didn’t seem angry or slighting in the least. He looked worried, sure, but that was just how his upperclassman was.

Summary
The day seemed to rotate on endlessly. But just as Asahi was heading for the door to check on something outside, somebody else beat him to it. Somebody shorter, more urgent, and carrying a soft mesh animal cage in his two small hands. Asahi jumped back as fast as he could, apologizing before holding the door open for the short man.
“S-sorry,” was all that Asahi could muster, eyes trained on whatever was inside of the carrier. That was...a miserable animal.
“N-no, it’s fine. Hey, uh, I couldn’t really--well--my friend tried to call here, like, half an hour ago, and I, we,” he had to stop and take a deep breath. “My roommate’s stupid fucking bird got to my bearded dragon!”

Asahi saw the break in the trees and headed towards it quietly. He intended to splash some cold water on his face to calm the fuck down. Seriously. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

Summary
Having steadied himself against Apollo’s back, Asahi wasn’t sure what to do when a stranger came tearing around the path bend, the male’s eyes wide with excitement. The newcomer pelted toward the bundles of fur and threw his head back with a laugh.
“COOKIE, PEANUT, BUTTERED TOAST COME!” The boy called out to the dogs before he spotted Asahi and skidded to a halt his eyes narrowing slightly. “You’re not trying to steal my dogs are you?”
