Summary
She didn’t miss being a superhero, necessarily. She felt very ambivalent about the whole thing. It had been something her mother had chosen, not her, and she didn’t regret leaving when she did. If she couldn’t trust herself to act in the field, she shouldn’t be putting herself in the field. She was still doing archery, just not in the field. And acting was fun. And it was kind of cool to just be a teenager with some really, really weird friends.
Cissie brought her best friend Cassie to her school, and Cassie's started dating Kon, and Cissie is trying to work through the one-two gut punch of nostalgia and jealousy this is causing for absolutely no reason.
Cassie's totally following Cissie's lead when it comes to being a famous high school student; she's got this handled. (Spoilers: she probably does not, indeed, have this handled.)
Alternatively: Cassie and Cissie might both be oblivious to the Girl Best Friends situation they've got going on. -

Summary
The civilian laughs, helping the other women to their feet, “What are you, some kinda teenage assassin? Kid ninja?”
Duke can't help the bark of surprised laughter that's pulled from him, slumping the henchmen against the back of the cargo container with more force than necessary — which they deserve. His laughter hangs onto his words when he helps the rest of the women out the container one by one, heart tight and heavy when they take deep breaths of fresh air, despite the stench of Gotham's river. It, hilariously, smells like freedom.
“Nah, just a kid from the Narrows,” Duke says with warmth.
(The one day Duke decides to take a day off from being Signal — everything goes wrong.)

Summary
“Would you change what you did if I yelled?” he asks.
Voice full of promise, Dick answers, “No.”
It’s not disappointment, as such, that courses through him, just something terrible that already existed, ossifying in his lungs hard enough to make breathing hurt.
“That’s what I thought,” Roy says blithely.
Relief is a pipe dream. A brief insight into Roy Harper's headspace after Infinite Crisis (2005).

“Something has spoken to me in the night...and told me that I shall die, I know not where. Saying: "[Death is] to lose the earth you know for greater knowing; to lose the life you have, for greater life; to leave the friends you loved, for greater loving; to find a land more kind than home, more large than earth.”

Summary
When Dick announced he was looking at new places in New York, Damian froze, in that way that Dick had been learning meant he was feeling very deeply inside.
Change is hard. Letting go is harder, especially when you’re not quite sure you belong.
