Summary
Nova was recently seen in the OPLA version that I posted a few years back and recently finished. HOWEVER, originally, she was made to be an insert into the Manga. After a lot of feedback and excitement, I'm now posting that original version:

Clear blue skies, an open sea vast enough to get lost on, and a boy wearing a straw hat that I'd grown up watching.
It had to be a dream.
Except my nightmares still haunt me, my wounds hurt, and I don't remember a subplot ever happening about a pistol engraved with the name 'Nova'.
I was normal. I wasn't a character of One Piece. Yet, somehow, I ended up on a dinghy in the middle of a sea with a boy proclaiming to be the next King of the Pirates.
This wasn't a dream.

Summary
Nova was coming to terms with her new life.
Or, well, more so she was treading water just to not drown in all of the changes. If she had thought before she would have any kind of upper hand with the knowledge she had from the Anime- she was wrong.
She was so, incredibly, wrong.
There was no safety net of this world being make-believe. Every danger was real and held the potential to cut her adventure short. With every new adversary, Nova was shown over and over again how much she did not belong.
But Luffy still believed in her. So she would do everything she could in her power to not drag down the Straw Hats.Series

Summary
After the deeply questionable experience of reincarnation, Yara came to one conclusion rather quickly. In the world of One Piece, a medical education was far more useful for forging licenses than for practicing legally.
At first, life as an underground doctor had seemed almost ideal. Quiet work. Good money. Minimal attention.
She treated pirates, smugglers, fugitives, and, on occasion, complete lunatics held together by stubbornness, poor impulse control, and what could generously be called luck. They paid well, rarely complained, and, most importantly, knew better than to ask unnecessary questions.
Yara extended them the same courtesy.
It was a simple arrangement: patch them up, take the money, stay out of their business, and keep as far away as possible from anything that smelled remotely like world-shaking conflicts or plot-induced insanity.
Honestly, it was a solid plan. Relatively safe, too.
At least until she discovered that world-famous maniacs apparently possessed an uncanny instinct for tracking down people with questionable reputations.
Seriously, fuck them all.

Quietly, Zoro thinks that it must not have been that many years.
Yet before anyone can think to do anything, Helmeppo is turning on Zoro with a snarl marring his lips. Zoro just sort of blinks as that anger is turned on him, not really knowing as to what to say. Helmeppo beats him to the punch anyways as he points at Zoro like he’s a disobedient hound and seethes, “You. You summoned this- this demon didn’t you?”
Zoro just blinks.
”This what?” He asks.
