“I’m sorry,” he said to Dennis, choking on the words and rubbing a palm over his eyes. His chest was heaving with breaths as if he'd just witnessed the end of the world instead of holding Dennis naked in his arms.

Summary
For Mark's last year of college, he planned on getting through his internship, befriending his carnivore coworkers, getting offered a full-time job, and maybe finding another cheetah to actually fall in love with. Nothing complicated, nothing extraordinary.
It becomes a little difficult, though, when he meets Johnny, a herbivore who isn't afraid of being in Mark's presence. It's weird, it's offensive, yet Mark can't help but be intrigued.
