Hyunjin makes a discontented grumble but doesn't protest, slipping his hand free of Chan's grasp to press it against his cheek. They stay that way, Chan's eyes fluttering shut, and for just a moment nothing exists in the world except for them. Unspoken words dance between them, be safe says Hyunjin's exhale, come back to me. Chan turns his head just enough to brush his lips over Hyunjin's palm in a promise, always.
