Summary
After the war leaves Dal in ruins, Queen Rumi Ryu offers her hand in marriage to secure peace with Taeyang.
Instead of the crown prince, Taeyang answers with a calculated insult: a bride she was never meant to accept. Bound to an enemy she was raised to hate, Rumi must choose between her kingdom’s survival and her own heart, while learning that the most dangerous battles are fought within gilded walls.

Summary
Rumi takes notes in careful Greek, the letters flowing from her pen with the ease of muscle memory millennia deep. She's been auditing Dr. Park's "Greek Mythology and Society" course for three weeks now. Before that, it was a semester of Medieval Literature at a college in Maine. Before that, Introduction to Archaeology in Ohio. Before that, a blur of lecture halls and libraries and temporary apartments where she never unpacked all her boxes because what was the point?
She'd been doing this longer than Vermont had been a state—longer than the language these students speak had settled into its current form. She'd watched the printing press change everything, watched the Industrial Revolution remake the landscape, watched the Internet arrive and make the world simultaneously larger and smaller.
She's good at watching. It's staying that she's never mastered.
OR
Rumi can see every possible future. She still didn't see Mira coming.

I don't have words.
This hurt in the best ways possible, immortal unable to let go until their mortal shows them the happiest parts of staying and eventually letting go, the cycle of life the immortal won't be able to escape.
thank you for this lovely fic.

Summary
Mira’s chest constricted.
Because this one—this one wasn’t just a song. Mira knew it. She could feel it. It was the melody Rumi used to hum under her breath when she thought no one was listening. An unfinished piece Mira had once teased her about, asking when she’d ever get around to finishing it.
And here it was. Finished.
And Mira wasn’t there to witness it.
Her eyes blurred. She blinked them clear, but the weight in her throat stayed. Rumi sang on, eyes sweeping the crowd, and once again, they lingered—too deliberate, too knowing—where Mira sat, half-hidden behind the rim of her glass.
This wasn’t coincidence anymore.
It was recognition.
It was memory turned into music.
And it was unbearable.

Lovely formatted how distance can be described as loss instead of new beginnings, on how some just can't let go after so long and don't realise until they are just in front of them.
Thank you, dear author.

Summary
The warmth of the conversation fades, leaving behind just the quiet hum of the shop. At this point, Mira should politely excuse herself, thank Rumi for her time, and go back to the pounding music and beating heart of the bar next door, leaving Rumi alone with her work and her quiet once more.
Instead, she says, "Since you're technically still open, could I get some flowers?"
Rumi is hired as a florist for a rich businessman’s spring wedding. As part of the deal, she needs to decorate the bar next door for the afterparty, working with the pretty bar owner she’s been avoiding eye contact with since it opened. And, in Rumi’s professional opinion, delivering bouquets to Mira from a "mystery admirer" is not part of that deal.

MASTERPIECE! I cannot describe how much i loved this, and the florist x bartender trope has me swooning!
If i were in anyones shoes in this, i would have probably been Rumi, lwk because i love sorting things and knowing meaning behind flowers and plants entirely.
lots of love and kisses to the author for creating such a great fic!!

Summary
Rumi has lived next door to Mira for four years, which should’ve been enough time to figure out her feelings.
It hasn’t.
Mira is everything Rumi thinks she isn’t: confident, beautiful, impossible to ignore, and somehow always a little too good at making Rumi fluster. Over the course of their senior year, what starts as painfully obvious pining shifts into something closer, softer, and a lot harder to pretend away.
