These barriers are carefully guarded, and maintained by a Barrier Master. Only an idiot would try living outside of a barrier, and only a moron would be caught outside one at night.
Which Wei Wuxian supposed made him both. Still, it wasn't like anyone was going to notice him out here. He'd worked too hard for that, burying his talents and skills for the sake of peace in the Jiang Household. They probably though he was still living in their garage, not in a tent in the woods. And Wei Wuxian would keep it that way, remaining unnoticed until he graduated from the College of Cultivation and landed a job.
At least that was a plan until the Heir to the Barrier himself fell from the sky and crashed into his tent.
