Summary
The soft glow of a distant yellow lamplight flickers as the door clicks open, Nam-gyu’s eyes lighting up brighter than any bulb could ever hope to. Thanos’ decision is finalized, and he can only hope it’s the right one.
The night air that seeps in during the few seconds that Nam-gyu spends stumbling inside is chilling, and Thanos makes hasty work of locking the door. He doesn’t poke his head out to try and catch a glimpse of whatever person (thing?) Nam-gyu was referring to—what’s the point? If there’s something there, it’ll disturb him, and if there’s nothing, it’ll only make Nam-gyu seem more untrustworthy. Thanos would much rather remain blissfully unaware.
“Thank you,” Nam-gyu mumbles, picking absently at his nails. “…For a second, I thought you were gonna leave me out there.”

She was interrupted by the door bursting open. Everyone turned to stare at a rather small boy with long-ish blonde hair and blue eyes who had just thrown himself through the door in a hurry. Aliza raised an eyebrow at him, his hair a mess, tie loose and top button undone.
"Late on the first day, Link?"
He faltered, taking in the scene as he realised he'd not made it in time despite his rush. Zelda frowned a little. He had disrupted her speech which she thought had been going rather well, and for some reason his presence had sent a ripple of giggles and whispers amongst the girls in the classroom.
