Summary
Castiel is a lighthouse keeper in the middle of the ocean, a solitary life he has chosen. What he didn't expect was to find a man washed up on the beach at the foot of the lighthouse, wounded and unconscious. That man, a sailor named Dean, not accustomed to life on land but rather to freedom of a life on the sea, will have to stay and live with that strange lighthouse keeper used to loneliness until the supply boat comes.

He’s on a Heavenly mission: Observe the human Castiel, and if the demon blood he’s infected with poses a threat, eliminate him. Though, honestly, Dean’s pretty sure his Father doesn’t really see that second part as optional. And when Dean actually meets the guy, he’s gotta agree. Castiel’s abrasive, violent, utterly faithless.
And completely gosh darn fascinating.
