Summary
Dean discovers that Cas uses Tinder on Wednesday. It’s an accident. He wanted Cas to send him a picture, but Cas had mumbled something rude and gone right back to sleep on the couch - so Dean did what any roommate would do: he picked up Cas’s phone, inputted the password, and searched for the photo.
That’s when it all went wrong, because that’s when Dean saw the app, nestled snugly between Instagram and the photo gallery. Tinder.Bookmarked by moriko

Summary
"What are you doing?" Dean said slowly, dreading the answer.
“Swiping left, for the most part,” Cas responded blandly.
“F-for the most part?” Dean’s voice cracked.
Cas had barely looked up from the screen. “There are a few people with potential. I’m trying to be open-minded.”
“Well, don’t be too open-minded,” Dean said, trying to sound protective rather than panicked. He probably failed.
(When Dean's best friend Cas starts using dating apps, Dean tries to cope with his jealousy by diving into the online dating world too. He doesn't expect, however, to match with Cas, and he definitely doesn't expect Cas's reaction.)

(A winner in destieldrabbledaily's 30k Fanfic Contest!)
He’s about to put the receipt down, no harm done, when something about it catches his eye. Pen ink, on the back. He flips it around and reads:
With Dean. He shared his pie with me. His smile was radiant.
Dean stares. Reads it again. Nothing’s changed.
What?

Summary
After Gabriel Milton, co-owner of Word Mil Publishing, goes into early retirement, Dean becomes Castiel Novak’s new editor. The author is brilliant, immensely talented and a grade-A asshole. But what he’s best at is getting under Dean’s skin, and into Dean’s pants. It’s why their professional relationship warps into something sexual Dean enjoys more than he knows he should.
When it seems less and less likely that Cas will ever put effort into his next manuscript, Dean strikes a deal that forces them to reveal more of themselves.
Dean has a pure love for storytelling. Castiel likes making fun of his readers. Dean believes in hard work. Castiel believes in instant gratification. Maybe they could try to meet in the middle, but for now, when Cas asks him to drop to his knees, Dean does.

Summary
Dean’s your typical half-orphaned, monster-killing 22-year-old until a trenchcoated stranger crashes into his back windshield one September night, claiming he’s an angel that knows him from the future and that he’s on the run.
Frigging fantastic.
(Or, in which Castiel gets stuck in Dean’s timeline preseries and Dean kind of hates it—until he doesn’t.)

Summary
Dean’s laughter dies down and there’s a pause, a lull, where they simply look at one another, as they have so many times. Castiel understands the potential in these moments, has observed humanity for long enough – and, more recently, consumed enough modern media – to recognize how these empty spaces are meant to be filled.
Castiel’s suddenly so tired of dancing around this, refuses to squander these opportunities any longer when they’re so few and far between, so quick to slip away. Castiel could be gone by tomorrow.

Cas does this sometimes, seeks Dean out in the quiet spaces between life or death missions. Such moments are becoming rarer and rarer these days, but they keep finding time for each other anyway, a habit neither of them can break.

Summary
Since he has to stay deep in the closet to protect his job as a children’s librarian in conservative Wichita, Kansas, Dean’s main outlet for sexual frustration is writing and reading slash fiction for his favorite show, Devil Boys. When he starts corresponding with AngelofThursday, another male slash writer in his ship, he really is just looking for friendship… but when it seems like more might be on the table, he’s not going to turn it down. If only he didn’t also have a crush on Cas, the hot volunteer at his library branch…

Summary
Dean’s getting some pancakes together for breakfast when Cas saunters in after a run.
He’s trying to focus on whisking batter, unfairly distracted by Cas a few feet away, breathing heavily and shining with perspiration. Dean’s been painfully aware for a long time that Cas is pretty easy on the eyes, but he’s used to seeing Cas buttoned-up and unflappable, looking straight-laced in a stiff oxford and an unflattering trenchcoat.
Now Cas is sweating, Dean’s borrowed t-shirt clinging to his skin, flushed from exertion and Dean really can’t deal with that in his kitchen right now.

Summary
“Y’all are sweet,” she says, and nods to indicate him and Cas. “Is he your—are you all together?”
Dean’s still contemplating how to answer this without saying something offensive—he never has figured out a polite way to say “no homo”—when Cas answers for him. Cas doesn’t even look up from his plate, his mouth full of baklava and some stray flakes of phyllo dough sticking to his lips when he says, “Yes.”
Dean feels more than sees Sam go very still across the table, forkful of salad and grilled chicken poised in midair.
***
In which Cas is human and doesn't understand basic concepts like: clothing, Mythbusters, moisturizer, and Greek food. Dean is...Dean and doesn't understand basic concepts like: boyfriends, language, how to tell your friend that he's a walking miracle, and when not to quip.
