Summary
Onni is Jere’s dæmon and, like all dæmons, he is his person’s conscience and soul. They came into the world at the same instant and will depart it as one, together. They exist both as two bodies and yet a single being, two halves of a whole, personifying and mirroring each other, every moment of their life spent together. They are one and the same. Jere is Onni and Onni is Jere.
Which is to say that Onni can be an excitable, impulsive little menace.

Summary
They stumble into Bojan's apartment and Jere pushes him agains the wall, with a piercing and hungry look in his eyes. Bojan watches Jere in the eyes, equally starved. Jere licks Bojan's neck with his unusually long tongue. Suddenly Bojan feels something sharp against his skin. He flinches and pushes Jere away a little. He sees Jere's sharp fangs and eyes which have turned completely dark.

Summary
The audience is electric. All Käärijä can hear are their screams, all he can see is the spotlight. He basks in the heat, his upturned face dripping with sweat, eyes rolled back and half-lidded. His hands slowly roam over his own body as he drinks up the noise. He hasn’t performed in front of a crowd this hot in ages, and he fucking loves it.

Summary
Bojan, at home, alone, late at night, is always a recipe for disaster. He knows it, as he pulls the Pasivision jersey over his head.
If everything had gone according to plan, he would not even be alone and there would be no need for the jersey. If everything had gone according to plan, Jere would be here right now. They would have spent a week together in the countryside before coming back to Ljubljana and Bojan's house for another week.
Things did not go according to plan, and Jere never came.
