Summary
When Soap keeps coming back from leave covered in bruises, it's clear there's something wrong. It's down to Ghost to figure out what's going on - and how to help Soap. He's out of his depth but it becomes clear that he's Soap's only hope. Can he help him, and can Soap heal from what's been done to him?

Picks up just after the events in Verdansk, 2019, weaves through canon and ultimately serves as a fix it for the canon ending of MWIII.

Their relationship couldn’t really be called a relationship. Even friendship — a stretch. For five years, they simply saw each other from time to time: Johnny poured out more and more stories from his life, Ghost absorbed every one of them and drank half the bar — not only the one they were in, but also Soap’s personal stash; they spent wonderful nights together, and Ghost disappeared in the morning while he returned to his gray routine.
