Summary
“Mel Bel!” Rosemary’s voice left from her tongue at a volume too loud for the early morning Pitt meeting.
Melissa’s head whipped around, a soft rosy hue dusting her cheeks. “Rabbit?” She asked. She cleared her throat, stepping out of the circle. “Rosie, what are you doing here?"
"You forgot your lunch."
----
"Excuse me?" Rosemary asked, jogging to the end of the hall where a doctor was sneaking out of a back door. The man turned around; a tag on his military grade backpack read 'Abbot.' "I um, well.."
"Got yourself turned around, sweetheart?" He asked.

Summary
"A big name observing me? Jesus." Jack’s tone could not be drier if he tried. "And for how long am I supposed to be this mystery woman's personal medical tutor?"
"Until she's satisfied with her knowledge for her role, they said," Gloria replied, wincing slightly in anticipation of Jack’s response.
Jack let out a humorless laugh. "So, four years plus residency, then? Fantastic." He gestured around the bustling ER. "Gloria, we're slammed every night. I don't have time to babysit a wannabe TV doctor. You know how this is going to go? She’s gonna come in here, faint at the first sight of blood, and then she’ll go and play a mediocre doctor who falls in love with their patient and have this forbidden romance because it’s a conflict of interest."
Gloria raised an eyebrow, “Sounds like a very specific plot point. Care to elaborate on which show you have in mind?”
“How about all of them.” Jack muttered darkly.
Or... Jack went to med school and didn't sign up to babysit some Hollywood starlet trying to play a doctor on TV.

Summary
“You know, Robby and I once spent one very ill advised afternoon trying to nap off a hangover in that very parking lot.” Samira doesn’t even deign to acknowledge that little nugget of information with a reply; she doesn’t want to know. Her face must communicate that sentiment very clearly because Abbot continues, “But let’s see…” he trails off, looking off into the middle distance like he can see both his schedule and her desperation. “Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon…Wednesday afternoon! My schedule seems to be wide open, and I haven’t actually been within two feet – or one for that matter – of a moped since Afghanistan, but I’m pretty sure one could fit in my truck bed. Whaddya say, Mohan?”
Oh, sick. Thank fuck, that moped is fucking hers. Except– “What do I say to what?” she replies coyly. Sometimes you need to make a man work for it.
or,
Samira Mohan comes into possession of a moped. Jack Abbot comes into possession of Samira Mohan – or at least a few hours of her time. These two things might be connected.Bookmarked by mrsjbuck
