Summary
“You were good for them as well. But let’s see if I can make you feel better than those fuckers ever could. I'm going to own every moan that leaves your pretty mouth, cariño.”
Buck used to do porn. Eddie definitely shouldn’t have looked it up. But curiosity won, and somehow one video turned into several jerk-off sessions. Now he can’t stop thinking about his best friend—or the way he looked on his knees—and suddenly Eddie’s questioning a lot more than just his sanity.

Summary
The kid with blood pouring down his shins is not so far from the dog lonely enough that he thinks breaking his housetraining is worth it for the ten minutes of berating that come with it, the ten minutes of undivided, if reluctant, attention.
Buck thinks, sometimes, that at least he wasn’t the kind of puppy that gets put in a sack and drowned at birth. He wasn’t always unwanted. And he isn’t anymore.
or, evan “i love you like a dog” buckley has only ever known how to love like, well, a dog, but maybe eddie diaz is the kinda guy to give a flea-bitten mongrel a forever home

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)

At the same time, on the other side of the ocean, in Los Angeles, Buck struggles to finish writing his last book, and has to deal with a fan obsessed with him at the point where he finds himself in danger. At some point, their both worlds will collide, and create maybe the best story ever written.

Summary
After studying him for a moment Eddie speaks, “Everything ok? You know you can talk to me.”
He looks down at his now-cold quarter-full mug and pauses. He doesn’t need you
You should just disappear“Yeah everything’s fine. Just feeling a bit restless.” Buck says swirling his mug.
Eddie sits down beside him, he’s so close that their knees bump together, “Alright, but if you wanna get anything off your chest, I’m all ears.”
Buck looks up from his mug, Eddie’s giving him a warm smile; their knees are touching and he can feel the warmth from Eddie's body, and it makes his heart flutter. For a moment his mind is quiet, and he’s not drowning. Buck’s unable to hold in the smile and small blush that creeps up on him, “Thanks Eds.”And then it all comes crashing down.
