The prompt was "Transformation stuff - Laurence and Temeraire discover some sort of magic plot device artifact which allows them to change from human to dragon, or the other way around, or both. Sexytimes ensue, obviously." Totally ran with that last bit.

Summary
It was second-nature, now, to feel Temeraire’s heartbeat echo through his own body whenever they flew together, growing into ever-so sharp focus upon landing; their bodies forming one sleek whole in the sky, hearts and breaths synced, Laurence’s continuing to be a mere amplifier for the dull thud coursing through his form once adrenaline began to ebb away into solid ground.

Summary
“If it hatches before we reach land in two months, Lieutenant Laurence will make the attempt.” Barstowe’s watery blue eyes gleamed. As if Laurence had voiced an objection, he said, “I cannot spare the other lieutenants, nor can I let a midshipman leap so high in position, even if it is to an inferior service. Laurence found his voice and said, with steadiness that surprised even him, “I am perfectly willing to try. However, I have not been trained in any of the methods used in the Corps.”
“You’d best figure them out, then,” Barstowe said. He smiled, revealing his yellowed teeth. Laurence felt his mouth tighten, and refused to drop his gaze. “After all, failing to harness such a valuable beast could only be called a betrayal to his Majesty, and you’d have to face the consequences.”

Summary
When the attempt at healing Uther backfires and kills him instead—thereby reinforcing Arthur’s hatred of magic—Merlin decides that the time has come to give up on destiny and leave Camelot before he can make things even worse. After giving up his magic so that it might guard the citadel in his absence, he sets out for Ealdor for some much-needed rest. He is pleasantly surprised when Gwaine rides out after him to escort him on the journey. The question is why…
