Summary
Being Champion comes with many social obligations – and Hawke has better things to do. But someone has to attend; so who better to send than Anders and Fenris? Left to themselves in a theatre filled with noisy nobles, with no one around to diffuse the tension, they are eventually forced to talk. They address some of what – and who – really stands between them and discover that spending time in each other’s company might not be the worst thing in the world after all. And that Anders may have read a few books too many on what a proper date entails…

He had disguised himself as a younger version of his former captain, and it had seemed only right to talk as he had. The drawl had left his mouth as sweet as the pastries that Jester was so very fond of, and the guards had let them pass without incident.

THEY USE THE RAPE/NONCON TAG FOR ONE CHAPTER THAT IS SKIPPABLE! And the tag should have been for Dubcon, which they explain in the notes of said chapter. Don't let it scare you! It's a very very good complex beautiful fic oh my goodness.
