There is a haze that covers everything, filled with flashes of light that crackle under his eyelids and spear through his brain. It is a stormcloud that only appears in the dark and refuses to disperse until the sun returns. This can’t be helped with what the school can give him.
What he needs is not painkillers that mute ghost-like discomfort, or kisses that reconcile torn flesh.
What he needs is sleep.
And only one person can give it to him without asking questions.

Bakugou’s hands drop dead the moment he realises Shinsou is standing behind him, a foot still through the door. He lets out a click of annoyance and grabs his package from his locker, which he slams shut. He pushes his way out the room, bumping into Shinsou’s shoulder in the process.
“Hey… Shinsou.” Midoriya waves awkwardly at him from his open mail locker.-----
Shinsou just wants to retrieve his package and eat snacks in his room. Midoriya talks too much for that.

Gon stared at the blank paper and it stared back at him.
He didn’t know what to write. His fingers bounced on the table as he blankly eyed the small paper card in front of him.
No matter how hard he looked at the empty letter, no matter how hard he thought about it, tried to put it all together, the words wouldn’t come out of his brain and imprint themselves on the white surface. It was driving him insane.

She didn’t want to get in trouble, but if they went outside to play just for a little bit nobody would notice. Technically they weren’t forbidden to go outside, their mother just wouldn’t like them going without her permission. But the thing was, the woman was still sleeping and none of them would ever have enough courage to go wake her up.
“But first,” Toya stood up, cutting his sister’s train of thoughts, “Let’s go get Shoto!”
A blank followed, then the exclamations fused.

They give Freminet a mailing address with a grin.

In other words, Freminet starts lettering with Gaming and is forced to face his fears of socialization.

Summary
Jujutsu sorcerers die young. That’s a fact. Inumaki jujutsu sorcerers die even younger, die more often, die stranded and stupid and misguided. They suddenly keel over on missions and in family homes and on the street and in the Japanese countryside. Toge has very few cousins, only one that’s close to his age. His own grandfather is the oldest cursed speech user to ever live, the next closest died in her fifties and had taken a thirty year vow of silence.
Cursed speech inherently means death for its wielder. It cracks up through the larynx and burns its way out of the mouth, ripping tissue out to make room for power. Cursed speech users do not usually make it to middle age. They die burned by their cursed technique in their own blood filled mouths.
Most likely, Toge will follow suit.
Or, There's a lot more to the Inumaki Clan than their name and an inherited curse technique. Toge, for example, would have neither if he had it his way.
