Roman’s breathing is deep and easy under his hands, a slight hitch present whenever the cutting sting catches beyond the haze of whiskey Dean had plied him with earlier, taking more than a few healthy swigs straight from the bottle himself, after the dirty work was done. “I showed you mine,” Roman says suddenly, startling in the silence, a rough edge to his voice.
What very well may have been a near death experience shouldn't shake them so much. Dean and Roman search for reminders of invulnerability anyway.

Apollo raises his brow, glancing at the digital clock on the dash and back into Klavier’s eyes in quick succession. “Klavier, my flight-”“-Marry me?” The words come out in a rushed and poorly articulated interruption. Apollo blinks, his mouth falling slightly open in surprise. “When you come back, ja? Marry me.”
