Summary
Nico thought he was doing the right thing when he ended things with Will. He told himself their futures were too different, that they were growing apart—that love, no matter how deep, wasn’t enough. So he let go. He walked away. And for a while, he pretended it didn’t break him. They drift apart like strangers, until one day the reality hits Nico hard and he realizes the one person he can’t live without… is the one he pushed away.
And he realizes he made a terrible mistake. He doesn’t just miss Will—he can't breathe without him. But when he finally reaches for him again, Will is… changed. It’s like the boy Nico loved has been buried beneath armor he no longer knows how to take off.
