“We’re not talking about me here,” Ian says, eyebrow raising.
Anthony steps closer to Ian, shrinking the space between them. They’re both in their shared office. Ian has already filmed his skit for Bit City but he couldn’t resist seeking out Anthony, indulging in the humor of strutting around the office in his police office uniform, threatening to ticket people if they so much as looked at him funny.
“Are we not?” Anthony asks, stepping even closer than before, so now he’s right in front of Ian, close enough to smell his cologne. “Can we talk about how good I think you look in this?”
Ian smiles, swallows, a pink rising to his cheeks.
“Yeah? Maybe you have the kink.”

Summary
Ian opens his notebook and doodles a sketchy middle finger across the paper, refusing to soak in a bit of the lesson on principle. Really, Ian likes Mr. Padilla as a sub. He’s cool, and really smart, and isn’t usually as uptight as Ian’s other teachers…except apparently about bionicles.
The rest of class passes quickly enough and when the bell rings Ian packs up his things and goes to head out of the room.
“Ian!” he hears his name called. Ian looks to the desk where Mr. Padilla is sitting, Ian’s bionicle in hand, a smile on his face, “see you after school.”
