Ruffled, Naim stands taller. "What'd you mean 'a guy like me'?"
Those ice blue irises dip, lazily dragging down to the front of his converse before taking the same path back up again. When they meet Naim's eyes again, there is a glint in them that makes his stomach flip.
A smirk overtakes the blond's expression. "Dunno. That's what I'm curious about."
The night begins as just another party that Naim is being dragged along to. However, that changes the moment that Ryan Whelan notices him through the crowd.

“About school… I'm worried for you. You haven’t made many friends and just lock yourself in your room all day.” She says barely above a whisper. Something in Naim's throat tightened. Even back in the old town he lived in, he was pretty much alone, he was used to being alone. It’s not something he can really change that easily.
