However, Pio is clueless. He doesn't know his mother committed a crime. He's just delighted to have his friend back.
When Jeongyo broadcasts an unsuspecting Pio's confession on live tv, he is distraught to see the face of the boy he's always loved sweetly confess that Pio's always loved him.

Summary
Jongyo could feel the blood slowly seeping from his head. His vision began to blur, gradually growing darker until he could no longer see the faces of the people around him clearly.
In the final seconds of his life, as the sound of people's screams and the ambulance sirens grew closer, a voice suddenly emerged from within his fading consciousness.
“If you were given the chance to return to the day you met the person you loved the most, the person you regret losing the most right now, what would you do?”
Jongyo fell silent.
If there really were a chance to go back...
“I would apologize to him.”
His breathing grew heavier.
“I would give my entire life to him.”
Slowly, his vision became more blurred, The voices grew more distant.
And before everything truly disappeared, Jongyo could only hope for one thing.
