Gabriel was speechless. Something about Minos' tone kept him on the back foot - No one dared speak to him like this. And yet suddenly he felt guilty, and wary. And perhaps correctly so, did a tiny part of him think.
Short oneshot of a conversation between Minos and Gabriel. Not technically romantic but the implications are there.

Summary
Lust had been something beautiful. A city of the sweetest sin: all reduced to rubble. Minos, born anew, roams the wreckage. Imprisonment has only empowered him. His liberator, a blood-fueled machine, fought well—but ultimately fell.
Meanwhile, an angelic executioner seeks an enemy thought undefeatable. To find it, Gabriel braves the buffeting winds of Lust.

Summary
Optimization is V1’s specialty. From projectile punching to explosion-propelled feats of acceleration, V1 was made to make itself better: faster. To achieve maximum performance, it opts to optimize its energy usage. A more efficient source of biofuel may exist—but V1 needs a means to extract it. A particular peripheral used by Mindflayers seems promising.
V1 intends to test it on Gabriel. There must be something better than blood.
