Summary
Sanji’s lighter saying, click-click. Why he prefers the metal to the matches: just a better sensation. The flicker of the flame, and Law does not blink, like most would, eyes this close to the heat, features softened, smoothed out in the orange glow. His head tilted up to Sanji, just a little: he might be sitting and Sanji standing, but Law is a tall man. “One day you’ll get unlucky, you know,” Sanji says. “And then good luck cold turkeying a kush or cocaine comedown.”
Law taking a big inhale, slow and satisfied. Smoke sweet, acrid, like urine. “Everyone else’s problem, not mine,” and isn’t that the attitude that separates a Captain from crew? His bad day is everyone’s. “Why have a crew if they can’t even get you a fucking lighter?”
---
In which Law shambles himself a pussy, and Sanji's brain kind of stops working about it.

Summary
Price searches the face of his Lieutenant, the smudged paint, his dull brown eyes, and he holds out his hand, letting it hover by Simon’s face, in an open offer. “You can do it alone, if that’s what you want. But I don’t think that’s what you want, do you?”
Simon closes his eyes and he tilts his head, letting Price touch him; the curve of strong bones, the unfamiliar, rough, blond stubble peppered across his jaw. He exhales, long and soft, breath animal-warm against Price’s hand; still very much alive for someone dead. “You sure? You’d do it?” he mutters, glassy eyes sliding open, intense gaze looking right into Price’s soul.
“Yes,” Price holds his gaze, firm and unyielding. “I won’t make you do this alone.”
---
For the promt: Ghost gets bitten by a zombie, and it’s the final hours before he turns. Soap has been dead for more than a year. But Ghost still has Price. He's had Price for a long time.

"It must be just the sound of water, making him all pathetic; shaky and emotional. Flowey sighs and rubs his darkness-tried eyes. Yes, maybe… Papyrus. Yes, Papyrus will do. "
Flowey wakes up in a Waterfall cavern and decides he wants to feel something.

Summary
“Who’s that,” Jean croaks, raised, sleep-hoarse voice breaking the quiet comatose of night. A hand on a gun, a hand on the too-weak lock barely holding the door. This can go two ways, he knows; that it’s the last still moment before the storm.
At the response, at the voice that responds, he almost rips off the rusted chain in a hurry to open up."
An undercover mission goes wrong, and Kim turns up on Jean's doorstep, injured.

Summary
For another night, the latest in a string he's lost count of, Simon wakes up in a sweat, heaving and breathless. Alone in the dark he can give in, and hold on to the tingle that lingers on his skin for as long as it'll stay. It's never specific. No fantasy or scenario. The depth of this, the way he wants is so much more than that.
Simon wants Johnny so badly it's a waking dream when it seems like he'll have his chance.
If he doesn't fumble it, that is.

Summary
What they do– it's not love.
If it is love, it's an animal kind of love. Proper domestication takes thousands of years and they're just the first generation of it. They scrounge each other's carcasses and they nip each other's fingers and they call mutualism a relationship because they're still stuck pretending they're human and not a different type of creature entirely.
Soap loves him, because he's meant to, and he's choosing to, and because he's got the strings of fate around his neck like a garrote.
(One of the dogs at the Predmostí burial site, 27-thousand years ago, was found with a bone in its mouth.)

Summary
“I was told your Captain wants a meeting with us,” sitting back on his haunches, Skull-face tilts his head to the side. This time, when he pushes the radio back into Soap’s face, it's turned on. “This is me, offering. But you’re not going to ruin my operation. Pick your battle, ‘Soap’.”
Or,
Roba has been wandering freely for far too long. Task Force 141 is deployed to track him down all the way to Mexico– right into the loving arms of a brand-new, unaffiliated militia of masked men hunting for the very same target.
