Summary
Victoria has spent her life traveling around the vast plains of the West with her parents, bringing healthcare to rural towns and running from her deep desire for something more. One night during a stop in the middle of Nebraska, she goes out for a trail ride to clear her head, but gets lost when a blizzard hits.
Luckily, Cassie, a local rancher with calloused hands and a kind smile, finds her and takes her back to her house to wait out the weather. But when the snow doesn’t let up for days, and Victoria spends more time alone with Cassie, she finds she doesn’t want to go home. And Cassie, despite suffocating in restraint and thoughts of the sweet girl, can’t bring herself to make Victoria leave.
