Summary
This takes place post-Black Widow and runs into the Infinity War timeline, with a few small adjustments to keep it consistent.
Bucky Barnes has recovered his memories during his time in Wakanda, but there's one person from his past he's not sure he's ready to face. When she arrives in Wakanda with fellow fugitives Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson, he has no choice but to confront the person who lives in the back of his mind.
When she goes missing, it's up to Bucky to find her.
When the Black Order attacks, the two of them must navigate who they are to each other while preparing for the biggest battle the multiverse has ever seen.
When the Blip takes out half of the global population, Bucky and Natasha are left to piece everything together while navigating their own world-and the family inside of it. -

Though Liam’s kidnapping was almost a year ago, memories of that night filter through her dreams more often than she’d like. The day they’d signed Liam’s adoption papers was the day she’d promised to never take her family for granted again, and the moment Everly was placed on her chest in the hospital, she knew she’d do whatever it took to keep that promise.

Summary
Bucky Barnes has been alive and whole for less than twenty-four hours. He's showered and changed, two things that do little to wash away the weight sitting on his chest since the Great Battle ended, since learning of the Black Widow's death. It's why he's put off listening to the voicemail left on his phone by an unknown number until he's had time to pull himself together. Still, no amount of training can prepare him for the voice on the other end of the phone, the voice that belongs to a dead woman. He is not prepared for Natasha Romanoff's message to shatter the silence of the room.
