“So you want me.” Armand takes a sip of his sazerac. There’s a look on his face that Daniel’s only seen two other places: in the mirror the third time he did bath salts, and in the eyes of a stray dog he saw on the side of an overpass in Idaho, gnawing through the bones of roadkill that had already been scavenged beyond recognition. He wouldn’t be surprised if the roadkill was wearing the look, too.
[An argument with Louis leaves Armand alone and desperate on the streets of Dubai. Luckily, he knows there's an old man monsterfucker at the hotel bar a few blocks away.]

The comic depicts Daniel’s internalized ableism. Rothko’s suicide is acknowledged but not discussed in detail. There’s angst, talk about kink and lots of fluff. Louis is mentioned as well as Daniel’s daughters. Marius is not named but is hinted at.
