Summary
“The story always started the same way. ‘There once was a little girl who lived with her family in a cozy little house on the outskirts of a city, near a forest.’ And then the little girl would go walking through the woods and sooner or later she’d happen upon a wolf with a hurt paw. The little girl was kind-hearted and she’d stop and help the wolf even though that might be dangerous, and that was the moral of the story, that when she pulled a thorn out of the wolf’s paw she wouldn’t get bitten for her trouble, she would get rewarded.”

Nile wants like he does. She wants to go to museums and get in her feelings about the art then go home and fuck about it. She wants to punch Nazis and then go home and fuck about it. She wants to cry on his shoulder about everything terrible and beautiful in the world and then snuggle until her mind turns over and she wants to celebrate the pain they've survived and the beauty they've created by fucking about it some more.
And Nile wants to be wanted, exactly how he wants to give.

Summary
Nile Freeman, heir to the duchy of Freemanshire, is on the road to her destiny with her two dearest friends and her father's armor. Will she find everything she's never known she's always wanted? Will her falsehood be discovered and her father's name tarnished beyond repair? Dear reader, you know the drill: the real victory is the friends — and lovers — we make along the journey.
NOTE: This fic is temporarily paused while I finish a few one-shots and work on two collabs! I'll be back in 2022 once Sir Nile's adventure is complete so that I can give you consistently scheduled chapter updates.
