Summary
When the sunlight from outside could reach them again, glinting off icy puddles on the cave floor, Vernestra let out a quiet sigh of relief.
“I’m just glad we didn’t run into whatever lives here-” she started, turning to look back at Stellan just before something hit the ground with such force that she and Stellan both stumbled forwards.
“Padawan,” Stellan said seriously, turning back to peer into the shadows of the cave. “I think you just jinxed us.”

Summary
Coruscant was smoggy and looked in desperate need of zoning laws. The city filled the entire planet, and skyscrapers seemed to extend indefinitely, claustrophobically boxing the sky in. It was never quiet – there were always horns and sirens blaring. Bright neon signs flashed obnoxiously, blotting out any faint stars, and somewhere fast music was thumping. An explosion sounded, slightly muffled, from down several layers below.
It was a far cry from beautiful.
Fox was pretty certain this city was going to kill him.----

Summary
The Clone Wars are raging, but the Coruscant Guard are nestled safely away from the front lines and fighting, stationed on the homebase of the republic. It's the easy posting, right?
(Right?)
Honestly though, the Republic by this point in the history of the galaxy is rotten to its core, and that core is where the Corries may be fighting some of the biggest battles of all.- Words:

Ever wondered about the birth parents of Jedi? Why they gave their children to the Order? And for those who arrived as younglings, what was their life like in those first years?
These are some stories exploring the birth parent/s, families and early lives of beloved Jedi characters based on what is known in canon - of their origin and what that Jedi is like as an adult.
This story explores the pre-temple lives of the Firebrands: Avar, Elzar and Stellan.
Inseparable since they arrived as younglings, but what if it had started before that?
What if the Force had set them on a collision course long before any of them were even born?

Summary
“What’s the plural for a group of Steves?” asks Natasha, and it’s weirdly comforting that the question has a hint of whimsical hysteria to it. Good, Bucky’s not the only one who’s not dealing well with all of this.
“A clusterfuck,” he says. “A clusterfuck of Steves.”
Despite how little sense his life has made since he got on a battlefield to fight a bunch of aliens, Bucky's pretty sure he knows exactly what's happened when a much older Steve appears after the mission to return the Infinity Stones: he left Bucky behind to get his much deserved happily ever after in the past. Only then another Steve shows up, and another. And Bucky realizes he still hasn't got any idea what's going on.
What he does have is a whole lot of Steves, a fraught relationship with his own Steve, and tentative plans to leave. But the more Bucky talks to all these different versions of Steve, the more he begins to wonder if leaving really is what's best for him and his Steve, or if there's a way to make something new out of their long friendship.

Summary
Stellan studied her for a moment with his head slightly cocked to the side. His eyes narrowed with a whisper of concern. “Avar, what’s—“
“Can I sleep here?”
Avar hadn’t planned on blurting it out like that. She just couldn’t bear to hear him ask what’s wrong. Because nearly everything was, and she was barely holding the outer rim together with her bare hands and she was so tired, but she couldn’t—
“Just sleep,” she clarified before he had the chance to reject her.

Summary
If Elzar were to apologize for all the times he's made Stellan worry, they'd be here all night – and maybe he should, but he knows Stellan wouldn't want to hear it either. “Look, I know you're okay. I know you can handle it. I just – I don't know if handling it is good for you.”
It must sound ridiculous coming from him, but Stellan says nothing, one slightly raised eyebrow the only indication that he might be skeptical.
“Maybe I just need to do a better job of taking care of you,” Elzar says, because he might as well press his luck.
