Summary
Things were going fine and then they weren't. One second Speedy was sniping the bad-guys from his tower of crates, the next he was plummeting through the air and every blood and soil idiot on the dock was whipping their sights in his direction. Landing wasn't the problem-he could give Robbie a run for his money on the acrobat stuff-it was the crossfire he was worried about; shrapnel and gunfire were blazing toward him from every direction and there wasn't a scrap of cover in sight.
It'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Nobody is just one thing. Especially not Greg Saunders. If he were, he'd only be The Vigilante. But as it is, he's also The Prairie Troubadour.
This is a place for all those moments from that other part of his life.

Summary
The Vigilante hated magic. It was powerful and dangerous and pert near impossible to deal with for someone like him. If he had his druthers, he'd never tangle with it again. But things don't always work out the way we want them to and tonight he, The Shining Knight and S.T.R.I.P.E are up to their ears in it. Still, they're professionals. They can deal with a few unwelcome circumstances. Or at least they could have if Justin hadn't suddenly switched sides.

Summary
The work of a stable boy was hard. The hours were long, the conditions mean, and more often than not, just when the work seemed done, a new something would rear its head. Usually, it was an unexpected rider or a horse gone spare.
But tonight it's something else entirely and frankly, Justin thinks he would have preferred the angry horse.

Summary
Ch. 3 - "In an idle sort of way, none of them had expected for Noir’s blood to be black. None of them had expected that their sudden appearance would be just the distraction that the Lizard had needed. None of them had expected for that very black and very unexpected blood to be painting the wall behind him as Lizard’s claws dug into his flesh, and sent his body flying limply to hit the wall with a wet-sounding smack." - A story based on recovery, color, and the knowledge that you're not alone.

Summary
Richard wants to scream. He wants to tear off those restraints and grab his husband, hold him, love him. He wants to go back to normal. He longs to hold his husband and tell him everything will be okay. Stroke his hair in the way that would make him purr, grip his hand and play with the rings that were on their fingers as they cuddled on the couch.
“Donald,” he sobs, dropping the clipboard in his hands.
This isn’t just another monster. How cruel is fate to make him treat him as such?

Summary
There is someone who occasionally sits in the back of the lecture theater click-clacking a pair of knitting needles. He seems a pleasant sort of fellow.
No one knows why he's there, and Professor Hendricks never spares a glance in his direction. But he never makes the man leave either.
