Summary
After Leo fell in love and got married, Donnie inexplicably found himself reflecting on his own love life- or lack thereof. But his undesired introspection was quickly interrupted by Keno, a ninja in training for the Hamato Clan - who was supposed to be on the other side of the world in Japan.
As Donnie gets pulled into Keno's dangerous mission concerning enemies new and old, he finds his attraction to his new ally turned possible friend growing deeper and deeper the longer they spend together. Having always focused on logic rather than emotions, Donnie must figure out how to adapt to these new feelings in order to complete their mission.

Donnie often found it easier to ignore, rather than accept.
He would ignore the cuts and scrapes on his hands after working on an invention for too long. He would ignore the looks Leo gave him after he was in his lab(also for too long), and then ignore the uncomfortably long and tight hugs Mikey gave him that followed Leo’s looks. He would ignore Raph’s long and never-ending rants about how he should take care of himself.
Now, he ignored everything. He ignored when Leo banged on the door of his lab yelling for him to come out, he ignored Mikey’s worried statements, he ignored the gross slimy feeling that took over his entire body every once in a while. He ignored how Raph almost knocked the door of his lab down every few hours, fixing it in complete silence. He ignored texts from April, and he ignored the burning sensation that flooded through his hands and arms. He ignored the emptiness in his chest and the pain in his head. He mindlessly worked, drawing out random blueprints for things he didn't need. He fused random metal scraps into random shapes.
He did everything he could to forget.

“You what?” Min shrieks, face entirely red now – though Ryan’s unsure if it’s out of anger, embarrassment, or just the heat. Maybe all of the above.
Ryan raises his arms defensively. “Hey, I didn’t think we’d actually win! I thought it would be pretty funny if I entered us as a joke, but then I completely forgot about it until they sent an email telling me that we’ve won an all expenses paid, weekend-long couple’s trip to some swanky beach resort.”-
[aka: the fake dating au in which ryan signs them up for a free couple’s vacation, accidentally wins it, and has to spend the entire weekend as a “couple” with min-gi. it really isn’t so bad, but things can get complicated when feelings start to get in the way – and they find themselves aching for the real thing.]

Summary
It was like that old saying, Min thought. If you put a frog in a pot of cold water and slowly turned up the temperature, it wouldn’t even notice it was starting to boil. But if you took it out for three months, told it it probably wouldn’t ever see hot water again in its life, put it to work in a fairytale-themed diner, then dumped it back into a boiling pot, it would sure as hell notice then.
[In other words: Ryan and Min-Gi roadtrip across Canada, sexuality crises ensue.]
