Summary
Azula knows people sometimes have a hard time understanding what she means with her words. They always seem to take what she says wrong or as a threat, and it doesn't matter how much she tries to be the most clear with her intentions, people doesn't understand when she speaks.
She thinks maybe letters are a better way to communicate with her family as to avoid misunderstandings. At least this way people can read her words as many times they need to understand. And do, she sent letters supporting her uncle when he was in Ba Sing Se, and is now sending letters to her brother wishing him luck finding the Avatar.
But maybe writing letters is not such a good way to get people to understand her words as she had originally thought.

Mutsumi is not surprised that Nyamu and Umiri are dating. Or having casual sex. Or whatever their relationship is. But she’s not surprised that they have one. They have this back-and-forth at rehearsals and meetings that they both seem to take a little too much delight in, to the point where Sakiko has to occasionally tell them to cut it out and focus. They also leave practice together with suspicious frequency, still trading jabs as they walk out the door every time. It’s good to have confirmation of what everyone else has suspected.
What does surprise Mutsumi, however, is that they want to get her involved in...whatever it is they have going on.
