She rolled her eyes, the gesture so familiar it made his chest ache. “Yes. Now put it on before I change my mind and shoot you somewhere more permanent.” She said pointing the gun at his crotch now.

"Because I was kind of hoping it was for me." He grinned at her.
"I definitely wouldn't wear it for you," she said, and turned away from him, but not fast enough to hide the faint pink flush highlighted by her scar.
