Summary
Within the library of Caleb's tower, Essek finds a strange book without a title. He could ask Caleb about it, but that would mean admitting that he's been reading the books there.
A low-key "getting together" fic, or possibly a "realizing you already are together" fic.

Summary
At a party in the Kryn Dynasty to celebrate the end of the war, Essek Thelyss meets a strange human who disappears into the night. While he reminds himself he is not interested in him romantically, he does find that searching for this man is a welcome distraction from the pressures of royal life, even as he thinks of the one night they studied magic together.
Caleb Widogast, planning his escape from the brutality of his teacher, had only gone to the party to be seen before he disappeared. His testimony sent to the Cobalt Soul, he is on the road until he is potentially called into trial as a witness. On the road, however, he can't help but think about the stranger he met on his last night as Bren.
A Cinderella AU inspired by the ETFC. Title from "We've Got Tonight" by Bob Seger.
Temporary hiatus because it's the end of the term and grad school is exhausting :)

Summary
“'I have some good news for you.'
Had the words come from anyone else they would have sounded fewer warning bells, but any time that Deirta Thelyss spoke happily to her eldest son it meant that he was about to experience something truly awful."
In which Caleb clears debts, Essek learns the meaning of family, and aristocrats get what they deserve.
This is the requested full Concubine AU version of "Conflict of Interest" where the wizards stay in Rosohna, because your author keeps their promises.

Summary
“You shouldn’t want me this way,” Caleb growls, low and bestial in a way that stokes the slow-burning fire in Essek’s gut. There is desperate loathing in his voice, but he knows why he is here in Essek’s bedroom, just as Essek does.
“I want you all ways,” Essek replies, loosening the ties on his collar and working his way down. The fabric of his robe parts slowly. Caleb’s eyes immediately pin themselves to the growing triangle of skin. “Anything you wish to give.”

Summary
“You are being gentle with him.”
Essek stills his hand on Frumpkin’s back, arching a questioning eyebrow. Frumpkin looks over his shoulder in indignant protest, but before he can so much as merp, Caleb has scooped him into his lap. The cat’s eyes fall closed with contentment as Caleb takes his face in both hands and rubs his thumbs in firm circles.
“Cats are not so fragile,” he explains. “They like a little bit of-- here.”
And then Caleb reaches out and takes his hand, and Essek is afraid to breathe.
