Summary
If you asked Quinn how things have been going since his and Kirill’s conversation, he would tell you he has given Kirill as much space as the man wants (which it turns out is none— Kirill still sleeps on top of him and goes down on him like it’s a privilege to do so).
But if he were a bit more honest, he’d admit that he has officially initiated phase one of get Kirill to fuck. GKTF for short.
OR
Quinn and Kirill can’t keep their hands off each other ever since they started this, but Kirill won’t fuck him. Quinn wasn’t raised a quitter, so he’s determined to make it happen. He may have to tend to some of Kirill’s wounds before it does.

Summary
When you’re dedicated to going unseen, it’s jarring to be noticed. Like someone flipping the lights on when you thought you were safe in the dark. Moving to Minnesota, trading in his C for a regular jersey, Quinn was ready to slip into the background like a movie extra. He didn’t want to be the team; he just wanted to be part of one.
But there is Kirill. Staring at him with an eager smile. His blonde hair sticking to his forehead and curling up around his ears. His cheeks flush. He’s looking so intently at Quinn that it feels like he’s x-raying him.

Summary
“This is a great apology,” Steve says, sarcasm thick.
“I already said I was sorry,” the man responds impatiently. He clearly regrets coming to make amends, and Steve’s own frustration is growing again. What is it about this man that just pushes every button Steve has?
“Forgive me if I don’t feel the sincerity, ” Steve says. The man glares.
“Take it or leave it.” He turns to leave again. Steve remembers his other dilemma.
“How about instead of an apology, you extend my stay,” Steve says. The man stops walking.
“What?” Bucky looks at him like that’s the last thing he expected him to say. Steve nods and then smirks.
“For free. Two weeks.” They hold each other’s stare, Bucky’s eyes unforgiving. Steve has to school his face to hide his desperation, but he’s running out of money, and he can’t go back to New York.
He hates how badly he wants to know what this guy’s deal is. They stare at each other for a whole minute. The air is crisp and tense.
“One,” Bucky says and then gets in his car and leaves.
OR
Steve runs away to Nantucket where he meets a very angry, very closed off baker who doesn't know how badly he wants to be loved until Steve shows him.

Summary
“‘Happiness is in front of you,’” Steve reads. Bucky scoffs at the fortune, stealing the actual cookie to eat because he knows Steve isn’t going to.
“That could mean anything,” Bucky says around a mouthful of cookie. “Not much of a fortune, if you ask me.” He pushes himself off the couch and disappears into the kitchen. When he returns, he has two pieces of pie.
“Be honest now,” Bucky says, extending a plate to Steve. “I’ll only cry a little if you tell me it’s bad.”
Steve laughs and scoops up a big chunk and pops it in his mouth.
“Well?” Bucky’s impatience makes Steve grin.
“Damn,” Steve says. “This is one of the best pies I’ve ever had.” He isn’t lying but he suspects he would have anyway if it meant he could see Bucky smile like that.
“You’re lying,” Bucky says with a laugh, but Steve insists. He takes another huge bite, getting lost in the sweetness of it. Steve watches Bucky smile to himself, notices the crinkles that form by his eyes and the light that seems to radiate from him, and Steve realizes he disagrees with Bucky’s earlier skepticism. His fortune is perfect.

“And you have quite a lot.” He answers, voice still laced with laughter, smiling right into Zayn’s fucking soul. Zayn feels a little drunk with it.
Zayn smiles but after a beat the guy adds, “I’m really afraid of needles.”
Zayn raises his eyebrows. “And you work in a tattoo shop?”
“I own a tattoo shop.” He corrects with a wink, which makes Zayn smile even wider.
