Yolanda was right—she had asked for that. She couldn’t be mad that she was being ignored if it was her own doing.

Then, as lightly as possible, eager to not awaken the thing that feels closer to a literal bomb in her hands than a living creature, Trinity guides the hospital blanket over the baby’s relaxed body. Keeping her warm and comforted, in the otherwise slightly chilled room.
“Didn’t know you were a baby whisperer, Santos.”
Trinity almost jumps out of her skin, jerking back and immediately glancing down to make sure the sudden movement didn’t jostle the little one.
“Uh, I didn’t—“ Trinity shrugs, staring at Yolanda like a deer in headlights.

(It's been 2 weeks since Monica rejected Amelia's offer of a date, but she's realising quickly that she actually can't keep her feelings well hidden. When they find each-other in the hospital alone on a rainy night, what happens?)
"Ouch." She'd recognise that raspy voice anywhere, which is actually embarrassing as she's not known Amelia for long, and she quickly straightens up. Looking over at the doorway where, yep, Amelia is standing. A small smile on her face and her dimples on show, as she leans against the frame of the door. She's not in scrubs but black slacks with thin, barely visible white stripes on them and a fitted light grey sweater.
She looks so good, it fries Monica's brain a little.
Maybe she should start believing in a higher power, because miracles clearly do happen, if Amelia's somehow appeared.
The one thing she was wishing for, but hadn't said aloud.
"Shepherd, hey." It's so lame and she berates herself mentally for it, but her head is still aching and she's exhausted so she gives herself a small pass. "What're you still doing here?"

idk what this is really but… i wanted to toy with the idea of nats guilt after letting javi die in her place, and how it would affect the remaining yellowjackets. also kind of showing how i believe nat would become after lottie crowns her the new queen. its pretty dark, very twisty so just, remember that as you go in. as always please enjoy!!
