It's not unusual for people to hit on Buck during calls. Beautiful, caring, competent, muscled Buck? Yeah, he gets hit on a lot. He always turns them down. He's taken after all and he only has eyes for Eddie.
Eddie isn't jealous. He is, however, a little insecure. Buck's had a lot of experience with sex and Eddie... not so much. That's not a bad thing... is it?
They have sex about it, then talk.

"Let's go to Kaer Morhen for the winter," Jaskier mocks breathlessly. "It won't be as exciting as last year. We'll rest and recuperate, you said. A moment of peace, you said." Passed out against Jaskier's shoulder, Geralt does not answer. "We could have portaled in. Yennefer and Ciri are portaling to Kaer Morhen in a few weeks time but no. Geralt, oh Geralt hates portals! So we're going to walk up the fucking mountain during a fucking snowstorm."
Jaskier drags an unconscious Geralt up the mountain towards Kaer Morhen, cursing all the while. It takes a few days, some stitches and a fever (and stealing some of Lambert's ale) but eventually they do get a few moments of peace.

When Buck buys a Powerball lottery ticket he doesn't think much beyond his need for change to air up his tire. He forgets all about the ticket until word spreads that the winning ticket was sold in LA and hasn't been claimed yet and pretty much dismisses it. After all, there's no way he won the lottery.
Turns out no, he really did win the Powerball, to the tune of 295 million dollars and just in time for Christmas. He's going to make sure the 118 has the best Christmas of their lives. And just maybe he'll have a good one too.

Summary
It starts when he breaks up with Taylor. Or maybe it starts when Maddie leaves again, when Chim tells him over and over again that he's done with him. Maybe it even starts when Eddie was shot, when Buck's entire world crumbles in front of him for the thousandth time and he can't do anything except sit back and watch.
Buck can't take everyone leaving him again, can't take being alone anymore. So this time, he leaves first.
Or he tries to. Eddie doesn't let him. When Buck pulls away, Eddie follows him. And Buck finally lets himself break.

Summary
Wolves come in many different colors and coat patterns, their pelts as widely varied as human coloring. It can lead to some interesting looking wolves or some wolves that simply look like german shepherds but are much, much bigger.
The 118 has no idea what Buck looks like in wolf form and it's on purpose. He's never shifted in front of them, never joined them on pack outings- hell he's not even officially in the pack even after all these years. He says it's "not safe." Eddie's determined to figure out why and change it.

Summary
When Buck jumps off a bridge to save a little girl during a call he winds up with a month off work and a slew of people coming to the Diaz house to take care of him and force him to rest. He's not going to admit how nice it is.
He would also like to point out- for the record- that he technically jumped out of a bus. It just so happened to be hanging halfway off a bridge at the time.

This whole thing is Bobby's fault. He's the one that suggested Eddie apply for the mate matching service, it was his idea to look for an Omega that would love and care for Christopher, to find a mate to be by Eddie's side.
Eddie's gonna have to send him a fruit basket or something. It was the greatest idea Bobby's ever had and because of it they now they have Buck in their lives, in their pack and firmly nestled right in Eddie's heart.
