    “I’m sorry,” he says, voice low and honest. “But you are.”

    “You’re sleeping on the sofa.”

    “No, I still have to make it up to you.”

    Shane’s nostrils flare, but in the way they do just before he smiles. “Do you do this to every man you’re trying to seduce? Make them cry?”

    Ilya hums, amused, and lets his face drift close to Shane’s again. “Just you.”
